An additional UPS engineer is required by Central Power Services Limited. The right candidate will have experience in the UPS field installing, servicing and testing installations of numerous makes and types of UPS, and will have a clean driving licence.

Skilled electronics engineer with experience in the UPS industry, to work as part of a team at our head office in Preston. Work will include installation, commissioning, repair and service of uninterruptible power systems, and commissioning of diesel generating sets, in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the UK.

Training will be given to ideal candidates, but skilled engineers with a prior experience of UPS equipment will be a distinct advantage.

Duties:

• UPS servicing and maintenance at customer premises
• UPS Commissioning
• UPS fault finding
• UPS battery replacement / battery builds
• Additional Duties:
• Call Out Rota
• Weekend Rota

Experience / Qualifications:

• Min 2 years experience working in the UPS field
• Min 2 years experience as a field engineer
• Knowledge of a variety of UPS equipment
• HNC Electronic / Electrical or equivalent
• 17th edition IEE Regulations (C&G 2380) and (C&G 2391) and (2360)
• Working as a team
