Head of Sales – Service (Generator Service Contracts)

Package:
£60,000–£65,000 basic + quarterly bonus, car or car allowance and pension
Our role
At Central Power Services, our service contracts are about more than compliance and maintenance – they’re about trust, reliability and long-term partnerships. As our Head of Sales – Service, you will lead and develop our service sales team while helping customers protect their assets and keep their power systems performing at their best.
This is a hands-on leadership role where relationships matter. You will be actively involved in developing new service contract opportunities, supporting existing customers, and working closely with operations to ensure what we sell is delivered to the highest standard. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in shaping the future growth of our service business in a way that puts people first.
What the role involves
- Leading generator service contract sales across the Midlands and Northern UK
- Supporting, coaching and developing a small service sales team
- Growing new service contract opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships
- Working closely with service delivery and operations to ensure high standards, safety and reliability
- Leading by example, staying close to customers and supporting the team on the ground
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in generator service contracts (ideally 5+ years)
- A people-focused leader, or a proven sales professional ready to step into management
- Someone who values teamwork, communication and long-term customer relationships
- Based in the Midlands or North, with flexibility to cover the wider region
