Service Contract Sales Manager – Generator Service Contracts

Location:

Midlands or Northern England (field-based with regional travel)

Package:

£40,000–£50,000 basic + bonus, car or car allowance and pension

Our role

At Central Power Services, our service contracts are built on trust, reliability and long-term partnerships. We’re looking for a Service Contract Sales Manager to help grow and look after our generator service contract portfolio across the Midlands and Northern England.

This role is about working closely with customers to understand their equipment, environments and risks, and then putting the right service and maintenance solutions in place. You’ll build strong, long-term relationships and work hand-in-hand with our service, operations and engineering teams to make sure customers receive consistent, high-quality support for their standby and prime power systems.

What the role involves

  • Promoting and selling generator service and maintenance contracts to new and existing customers
  • Managing and growing a defined region across the Midlands or Northern England
  • Identifying new service contract opportunities across industrial, commercial and public-sector customers
  • Visiting customer sites, building relationships and providing consultative, technically informed sales support
  • Preparing proposals, quotations and tailored service packages
  • Working closely with service, operations and engineering teams to ensure high standards of delivery

What we’re looking for

  • Experience selling technical services or maintenance contracts, ideally within generators, power systems, CHP, HVAC, UPS or similar engineering sectors
  • Strong commercial awareness with a relationship-led approach
  • Comfortable engaging with facilities managers, consultants, engineers and procurement teams
  • Able to manage your own pipeline and deliver consistent results
  • Self-motivated, organised and confident in your communication
