Project Overview
Central Power Services (CPS) was commissioned to deliver critical standby power upgrades on the A55 in North Wales, replacing an aging generator at the Penmaenbach West Approach Tunnel and installing a new packaged system at the Eastbound Headland Tunnel.
These generators provide essential backup power for lighting, ventilation, and smoke extraction – vital to maintaining tunnel safety during network outages.
