Supporting the Armed Forces Community

At Central Power Services, we recognise the valuable contribution that service personnel, veterans, reservists and military families make to our communities, workplaces and country.

Armed Forces Covenant

In May 2026, we proudly signed the Armed Forces Covenant, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the Armed Forces community and recognising the skills, experience and dedication that those who serve, or have served, bring to society and the workplace.

The Covenant reflects our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace while supporting initiatives that make a positive difference to the Armed Forces community.

Recognising Our Veterans

We are proud to employ six veterans from across the British Army and Royal Navy. Their military careers span logistics, engineering, armoured operations, marine engineering and weapons systems, bringing a wealth of knowledge, professionalism and experience to our business.

We are proud to recognise:

  • Stephen Corbidge - Royal Logistic Corps, British Army
  • Martin Mann - Royal Armoured Corps, British Army
  • Stu Dean - REME, British Army
  • Kevin Potts - Royal Navy
  • Sean McKenzie - Royal Navy
  • Michael Hogan - Royal Navy

The resilience, teamwork, adaptability and commitment developed through military service continue to make a positive contribution across Central Power Services every day.

Supporting Armed Forces Week

As part of Armed Forces Week 2026, colleagues across the business came together to recognise the contribution of our veteran employees and raise awareness of the wider Armed Forces community.

Throughout the week, the office was decorated in support of the campaign, helping to celebrate those who serve, or have served, in the Armed Forces and highlight the importance of the Armed Forces Covenant.

Alongside our Armed Forces Week activities, employees raised funds for Help for Heroes, a charity providing lifelong support to veterans and their families.

Together, employees raised £250 for Help for Heroes, with Central Power Services match funding every pound donated.

A Commitment to Those Who Serve

Paul Dove, Chief Executive Officer, said:
"Signing the Armed Forces Covenant was an important step for Central Power Services. We are proud to employ veterans whose skills, professionalism and dedication contribute to our success every day.

Armed Forces Week provides an opportunity to recognise their service, support important charities and demonstrate our commitment through meaningful action."

Looking Ahead

Supporting the Armed Forces community is not limited to a single week in the calendar.

By signing the Armed Forces Covenant, recognising the contribution of our veteran employees and supporting initiatives such as Help for Heroes, Central Power Services is committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the Armed Forces community.

We are proud of the veterans within our business and look forward to building on this commitment in the years ahead.
