Scheme of Works: Site Power Infrastructure & Genset upgrade works

The Brief:

When the Stockport & Manchester based Consultancy firm ECS Ltd were tasked to Design and Project Manage the Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade Works for Qiagen at Manchester Science Park, they chose CPS Ltd as the preferred supplier of the replacement Genset.

The scheme of works included for de-commission and removal from site of the existing 400KVA Packaged Genset, as well as for the supply of a 200KVA Rental Genset to cover essential loads until the new 800KVA Packaged Genset had been fully commissioned and handed over.

The Conclusion

CPS Ltd co-ordinated works in-line with other contractors, ensuring an enhanced delivery of the project, thus allowing infrastructure upgrades to be fully operational to the Project Milestones.
